Automatically calculate and create personalised invoices
PennyPerfect makes your invoicing quick, accurate, and professional. You decide when to invoice, for what period, and exactly what is displayed. With all the details taken from your sessions and everything calculated for you, it takes only a few seconds to create all your invoices for a month.
The layout, fonts, colours, logo etc. of the invoice are specified by invoice templates. You can use any of the included templates, modify them, and create your own using the supplied invoice designer.
Every invoice has a unique number and space for notes. They're created in PDF format so you can print or email them, and you'll always have a secure second copy of everything you send.
To Prepare Invoices
Press the green plus sign, and a dialogue pops up.
Choose to prepare invoices for all practices, or just one.
Choose to include all uninvoiced work, or just the work between two specified dates.
Creating and Viewing Invoices
Select the invoice you want to create, and click on the PDF button (white and red) at the top of the grid.
Created invoices are placed in the Invoices directory.
Changing the Invoice Template
Invoices are created according to the template which has been selected in the Options dialogue
To recreate an invoice after selecting a different template or changing your personal details, hold down the SHIFT key when you click the PDF button.
Invoices are created as a very compact PDF file so can easily be sent by email, or printed from Adobe Reader.
For easier emailing, double click the invoice to open the Invoice window. Then click the 'Send by email' button to create a pre-formatted email message in your own email client with the invoice already attached.
Enter the date you send the invoice and receive payment.
There is space to record the payment method and a reference number e.g. a cheque or transfer number.
There is also space to record information about receipts you send.
